Laser Isokinetic Sampling Probe (LISP) — Pressurized On-site Gas Sampling
Peerless has developed the leading pipeline process sampling technology available today — the LISP or Laser Isokinetic Sampling Probe. With the right provisions we can sample your process flow conditions in real time and measure the parameters of the contaminants in your line. This can be done to analyze problems with an existing system prior to engineering a solution or prove the performance of a new separator. Either way, you’ll get an accurate statistical report on the particulates in your line.
Our unique curved probe allows gas flow to proceed in a smooth fashion to the laser analyzer. This smooth flow eliminates the problems and inaccuracies encountered when using other more traditional hypodermic probes.
Hypodermic Sampling Probes
Hypodermic Sampling Probes — Inaccurate due to inertial fluid dynamic segregation — negative effect on particle concentration and size distribution. Measurements indicate a much leaner concentration and smaller particle size than actual. Can be inaccurate by a factor of 10 or more.

The Peerless LISP advantage
The Peerless LISP advantage — Curved sampling prove assures that the velocity in the probe matches the free stream velocity. A more accurate sampling of the actual particle distribution and stream concentration is received. Accuracy confidence is ± 3% RMS of the count.
